Sushi roll

California roll with avocado

Spam Musubi

Pork or ham: 4 slices
Rice: 2 bowls
Egg: 1
Roasted seaweed: 4 pieces cut into 2cm x 15cm strips
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Salt: A pinch
Salad oil ………… 1 teaspoon
<Instructions>
1. Add sugar and salt to the egg, beat in a bowl, add salad oil, and fry into a thin omelet. Cut into 4 equal pieces.
2. Fry the pork or ham in a frying pan until browned.
3. Divide the rice into four portions, wrap in plastic wrap, and shape into squares. 
4. Unwrap the rice, layer with the egg and pork meat (ham), then wrap with nori seaweed.
*Nori seaweed is essential! It adds umami flavor, making the pork meat or ham even more delicious.

Nori Mochi

Kirimochi (rice cakes): 4 pieces
Nori (seaweed): to taste
Sugar: 1/2 tablespoon
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
This delicious take on the mochi you've grown tired of.
<Recipe>
1. Grill the kirimochi on a grill or frying pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
2. Cut the nori seaweed to a moderate width.
3. Mix the seasonings together.
4. Press the seasonings firmly onto the cooked mochi with chopsticks to coat the surface.
5. Wrap in nori seaweed and you're done.
*Evenly browning the mochi will make it more fragrant and delicious!
